Programs
The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology offers three nationally accredited graduate level programs.
The Seattle School is now proud to offer certificate programs. Our certificates are all yearlong programs and do not require a Bachelor's degree.
- Leadership in the New Parish - An innovative program helping pastors see the church grounded in place.
- Lay Leader Certificate - Coming Soon
Which Program is right for me?
At The Seattle School, our programs are about the journey of education as much as they are about the degree you attain at the end. Still, it is important to understand that each program will prepare you for a specific career or calling.
MA in Counseling Psychology
Graduates of the MACP program go on to work as licensed mental health professionals in many mental health fields including private practice, family services, counseling centers, mental health clinics, trauma care and rehabilitation, and residential or outpatient treatment.
Master of Divinity
Graduates of the MDiv program can be found in a variety of church roles in both church plants and established institutions. Many MDiv students also work towards church ordination in order to pastor within a specific denomination and The Seattle School works diligently with these students in their pursuits.
MA in Christian Studies
Many MACS alumni work as pastors and ministers outside traditional church settings such as community organizing, bi-vocational ministries, and in "third places" such as cafés, pubs, and neighborhood committees. Some MACS graduates begin entrepreneurial ventures such as non-profits and parachurch ministries.
Within the specific tracks, Creative Arts and Theology graduates are prepared to step into artistic/theological roles within and outside the church while Global and Social Parntership graduates are prepared for work in the realm of social justice and missions.
