Practices can be defined as habits and customs. Spiritual practices are regular disciplines that help us to grow spiritually. Community Practices at The Seattle School are the customs within our Community Rhythms that surround us and build us up on a daily basis. They range from Formational Practices such as Weekly Eucharist, the chimes heard around the building at nine, noon, and three to call us into mindfulness and prayer, and stewarding God's earth in the neighborhood P-Patch; art galleries surrounding us and inviting us to wonder and explore in creative ways; recognizing the liturgical calendar rhythms of the church through seasons and vespers services; and finally, acknowledging the members of our community who represent the spirit of The Seattle School on a daily basis through the la Danse Award each spring. We invite you to explore and participate in our Community Practices to the left.
